TIJUANA – A spate of Tijuana violence that started with bodies being dumped late at night has expanded in the last few days to include shootings on busy public streets.

The bloodshed continued yesterday as authorities reported that at least nine men were killed in a 24-hour period. The deaths in Tijuana are being blamed on the ongoing battle between feuding drug gangs in the region.
