OCEANSIDE – Oceanside police searched today for two men who broke into a home and tied up its lone female occupant with tape before stealing cash and jewelry.

The robbery in the 600 block of Southgate occurred around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Oceanside police Sgt. Kelan Poorman.

The victim was not hurt, he said, adding that the suspects are a black and a Latino man, both in their 20s.
