BEVERLY HILLS – The public is being asked to help identify a man whose decomposed body was found last week in a vacant home in Beverly Hills.
Police Lt. Tony Lee says kids skateboarding near the home smelled a foul odor and discovered the body in a sauna room on June 26.
The Los Angeles County coroner's office says the body was decomposed and a partial skeleton.
It was curled in a fetal position and Lee says it apparently had been there for months.
Authorities believe it's the body of a homeless man in his late 40s. Lee says huge trash bags of old clothing and an old bicycle were found next to it. Lee says there's no evidence of foul play.
