Left tackle Marcus McNeill acknowledges the offensive line could have played better against Atlanta on Sunday, but says it's a team game. “You can't put the blame on one person or one part of the team,” he said.

The unit has struggled all season to dominate in games, as the meager rushing totals for Tomlinson and the team as a whole attest.

Q:
Kevin ... Is AJ kidding us? I have seen enough! I'm a business owner and as such I make decisions, see how they work out and make adjustments. Sorry, but it is time to fire Norv. Can you name any other organization that goes through what the Chargers do in ineptness in the front office? Colts, Pats, Steelers....NO! This man has single-handedly destroyed a very very good team. You can talk all you want about players, but the fact is most of these guys have been here for awhile.
- -- Jeff T, Las Vegas

A:
You're right about the players being mostly the same. But players change, and you never know what is going to be a team's albatross. And all I can say is that AJ Smith signed a contract extension that pays him $11 million. He has been given the reins of the team and will be given time. It was just last year that everyone thought he was Midas. Dean Spanos has said what he thinks was wrong with this season, and everyone needs to understand he doesn't think it was Norv or AJ. I don't know what else to say.
